what causes save/load errors

Just found out that blizzard has set a cap on the stuff that can be saved. This cap applies to all bank files the game uses and is based on the total. This means that there is literally nothing more that I can do to fix save problems. This also means no vault. No new dragons. Ect. Which really really breaks my heart. I wanted to as multiple characters. Vault for items inn town ect... But now i can't.

What is the cap? and also is it items or slots?

i would assume its items we have lots of slots with our bag and quest bag so im thinking you can have tons of slots just it wont save them all

im a bit rusty at coding but couldnt you persay "link" multiple bank files? for instance you technically get 2 dqrpg files with the 1-sc2-blabla and then have it run one only for vault?

or does blizzard not allow that?

Blizzard does allow multiple banks, but the cap is cumulative. So i can't just make multiple banks for didn't stuff. The cap is 80. So it loads the first 80 things. Starting with the first bank.

How big is the stats/talent bank?

Just an idea for this, but if you have extra stat options of at least +10 in points maybe even going with +50 as well, it would be alright to not save them every game because it wouldn't take anywhere near as long.

Same for talents. Is it possible to program it to +10 if you have the points? Just add a little button to the right of each talent with '+10' in or something like that and it would be perfect.

Even if you cant do that for talents, i would prefer to load all items then all talents.

oh well w/ my idea but i feel greed is alright, not saving my talents/stat points isnt as bad as losing items so ya... just my opinion

no, i want it like that but if you could still have it save so you click once and it counts out 10 points but only saves as one slot your just sayin you'll redo it every game

Talents only take 1 save slot. Because I save each point in a long string.

I could, with some serious effort, save stats in 1 string too. Even though that sounds awful.

So 000193000207100

would be:

0 agility
193 dexterity
0 intelligence
207 Strength
100 Vitality

But that is harder than it sounds, and it only saves me 4 slots.

Can someone go into the bank file and count how many slots there are.

Each item counts as 1.

0.o uhm wouldnt there be 1 for armor slot 1 for wep slot 5 for orb 1 for familiar 1 for quest items and 25 for your bag?

Iam not at my pc at moment, so i cant check for a bit. But you forgetting the health shields energy that are listen in item area. I believe they count

idk he said items 0.o but if your counting the other ones in there theres also

life, shields, energy, xp, item count, vesp, Arena Wins, XXJ5, FD Intelligence, 4 ability strings, Arena Losses, FD Fire Skin, FD Vitality, FD Agility, Death Count, XVJ5, FD All Seeing Eye, FD Strength, FD Dexterity.

thats it for me that is idk if any 1 else has any bit different

*shrug* this is beyond me, im not allowed to touch the bank files :p they'd lead to me studying them, getting an f in everything and no sleep XD
