Critical Chance

Would it be possible to get some Critical Chance on the prestige buff? when I go spec melee, I try to keep my delay at 0.5s, which means I'm getting less Crit Chance as I prestige and get more Attack Speed from Prestige, which lowers the proc rate for Critical Crepitus. Unless I'm mistaken and getting a Crit does something other than proc Critical Crepitus.

Unless I'm mistaken and Crits do more than just proc Critical Crepitus that is, not something other than proc Critical Crepitus.
